Sydney Fish Market

Published February 12, 2010 by Mary Jane

Afternoon, still in the mindset of Sydney – cos there’s heaps of food there. So I’m going to blog about Sydney fish Market, it’s not a restaurant so this aint going to be a review just letting you know if you’re in Sydney must try out the seafood at the Sydney fish market 🙂 There’s so much fresh seafood produce I don’t even know where to start. Fortunately my cousins are locals so they know where to take us. Apparently this seafood joint is really famous for their seafood platters and less oily compared to others..I can’t remember the exact name but it’s got a huge orange sign I think it’s called Deep. Anyways, just watch out for this seafood joint with a large bright orange sign and there’s usually lots of seagulls who hangs around. The yummy seafood includes the seafood platters – fish, abalone, squids, octopus, lobsters, chips and we also had crab claws balls – so cute and round and delicious full of crab meat goodness, and seafood kebabs. Don’t forget the soft shell crabs – they were deep fried and very tasty 🙂 honestly I think we over ordered cos we couldn’t finish all of them. The prices for the seafood was also quite decent probably slightly cheaper than the ones you pay at Fremantle, WA but the variety is huge over there. I’m starting to feel a little sleepy after coming back from Hong Kong BBQ Place.
