Tomorrow is Australia Day – yay public holiday! 🙂 I love public holidays, it means I could sleep in and catch up with some of things that I need to do. Like gardening and cleaning. So this recipe is very simple you can make them with sandwich or with hamburger buns – it’s up to your preference. I ran out of burger buns so I had to use normal bread. Taste just as good 🙂 There’s different variation of recipe for the beef patties but mine is pretty simple to remember 🙂
Here it is…
500g of beef mince
1 table spoon of mustard sauce
2 table spoon of bread crumb
1 table spoon of bbq sauce
1. To make the beef patties, in a large mixing bowl mix in the beef mince, mustard sauce, diced onions, bbq sauce and bread crumbs. Then combine them together and add in some drizzle of olive oil and season with salt & pepper. Roll them into circle patties
2. Oil in the pan, cook the egg – make sure you don’t over cook it so you can still taste the yolk. Remove from pan and placed the beef patties into the pan and cook it until it’s golden brown.
3. Toast 2 slices of bread and spread some butter on it and assemble with patties, egg, some lettuce and tomatoes.
There you have it – a tasty steak sandwich that’s so easy to make 🙂
