Comfort Food Recipe – Braised Chicken with Potatoes

Hello people, I’m on a roll to write up recipes – cos these recipes are so simple anyone can cook đŸ™‚ So yes, I’m not sure whether I’ve mentioned that I love chicken we pretty much eat chicken nearly every night. I used to love chicken breast but now I’m kinda addicted to chicken thighs? Why cos if you cook them longer or over cook them they don’t become tough and chewy…so that’s why I fell in love with chicken thighs…Pandabear likes this dish so I should make this more often…

Here it is…


Braised Chicken with Potatoes


8 pieces of chicken thighs
3 potatoes
2 – 3 cloves of garlic
2 table spoon of soya sauce
2 -3 sprigs of spring onion


1. Boil the potatoes until it’s soft but do not over cook it otherwise when you stir fry it will fall apart.

2. Put some oil in the pan, add minced garlic and add in chopped chicken thigh pieces and stir fry until it’s golden brown add in the cooked potatoes and add in soya sauce. keep frying it until the potatoes are covered with soya sauce, add in chopped spring onion and salt and pepper to season.

Plate up with steamed rice and you’re laughing…it’s delicious…
